Oh Happy Day!

I am so excited to finally have the confidence to announce this. I'm pregnant! I'm 15 weeks along, and so very happy to be heading into the second trimester. I hated feeling nauseous all hours of the day. I have hated food for the last three months and am finally starting to get my appetite back. Its an absolutely wonderful feeling to look forward to mealtime again and to feel like myself. Its amazing how much one can get accomplished when one feels good. I have felt like such a slacker/sissy these past few months. Luckily I have the best husband in the world who has picked up my slack like a true champ. We actually had a close call with this little pregnancy of ours - meaning we almost are having twins. Thank heavens there's just one little fetus in there, talk about trauma for a new mother. When we got the ultrasound they said I have a cyst in my uterus (sorry if this is too much information, I don't mean to be gross) which was caused by an egg that didn't get fertilized. I dropped two eggs! When I called my mom to tell her this bizarre news she said, "Well you always were a strange one." Thanks mom. For all you experienced mothers out there don't laugh, but I am tickled that I am starting to show a little. I'm sure to most people it looks like I've just packed on a few pounds, but its definately a baby bump! I'm not sure why that is so exciting, but it just is. I'm due July 12th, but I'm hoping for a girl on July 4th so we can affectionately name her Liberty Bell. She would love that, right?
